Obituary of Veronica Jeaune Dyke

Veronica Jeaune Dyke February 26, 1948 November 25, 2016 Kinder- Veronica Jeaune Dyke, 68, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. She was a native of Welsh and a resident of Iowa. She was employed with Coushatta Casino Resort since it opened in 1995. Veronica enjoyed antiquing, but most of all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Veronica will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Dyke; her daughter, Suzanne Schultz of Humble TX; two brothers, Kenneth Tate and wife Roxane of Ardoin Cove, Phillip Tate and wife Margaret of Lockport; three grandchildren, Emily Schultz, Evan Schultz, and Samantha Schultz; two great grandchildren, Kai and Cora. Preceded in death by her brother, Larry Gene Tate and sister, Susan Stanfield. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 12PM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday at Reed Funeral Home from2PM-9PM and will continue Tuesday at 8AM until time of service.
