Kinder- Ms. Earline Lanier LeBlanc, 100, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016. She was a native of LeBlanc and a resident of Kinder. Ms. Earline was a member of Indian Village Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She worked for the Draft Board, Clerk of Court, was the secretary at Oberlin High School, and retired from the Postal Service. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting. Ms. Earline lived a long happy life, and she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include three children, John W. LeBlanc and wife Ingrid of Welsh, Norman C. LeBlanc and wife Dorothy “Dot” of Broussard, Linda L. Augustine and husband Jimmy of Indian Village; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 22 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wesley W. LeBlanc and parents, John and Ella Lanier.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder at 10AM. Rev. E.J. McCann and Rev. Pam Roy will officiate. Burial will follow in LeBlanc Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday from 5PM-8PM and will continue Tuesday from 8AM until time of service.
