Obituary of Billie Smith

Mittie- Ms. Billie D. Smith, 79, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Mittie. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. Billie loved her home and taking care of her yard. She especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by five children, Wayne Hamilton of Parks, AR, Jane Ann Cooley and husband Richard of Mittie, Becky Disatell and husband Michael of Sugartown, Sheron Seal and husband Tony of Mittie, Frankie Hamilton of Sugartown; one twin sister, Clarcie Cole of Mittie; 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Simon Singleton; mother, Chloe "Toogie" Simmons; siblings, Dorothy Smith, Norris Rasberry, Manilla Trotti, Nelson Smith, and Nelvin Smith. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 2PM at Smyrna Baptist Church. Bro. Frank Ott and Bro. John R. Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Visitation will begin Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Smyrna Baptist Church from 11AM-11PM and will continue Thursday at 9AM until time of service.
