Obituary of Vena Ann Sonnier

Vena A. Sonnier March 18, 1941 October 11, 2016 Kinder- Ms. Vena Ann Sonnier, 75, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. She was a resident of Basile. Vena worked for Coushatta Casino Resort for 21 years. She enjoyed driving and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed. Survivors include 5 children, Elizabeth Matt and husband Mike of Basile, Gary Sonnier and wife Goergie of Reeves, Paula Sonnier of Kinder, Jerry Sonnier and wife Liz of Elton, Joey Sonnier and companion Billy Spell of Elton; sister, Laura Hollingsworth of Elton; two brothers, George Stephens of Elton and Wayne Stephens of Gray, GA; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Lela Stephens; granddaughter, Crystal Matt. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 4PM at Assembly of God Church of Elton.
