Obituary of Rhonda Kaye Breaux

Rhonda Kaye Kuhn Breaux February 23, 1957 August 6, 2016 Rhonda Kaye Kuhn Breaux, wife of Peary Neal Breaux “Billy” passed away at the age of 59 on August 6th, in Kinder Louisiana, with her husband and close family by her side. Rhonda was a former resident of Harvey Louisiana, before settling in Kinder Louisiana. She is preceded in death by Warren and Yvonne Bertrand. A devoted wife of 40 years to Peary Neal Breaux “Billy”. Mother to three children, Heather Osburg (Jeffrey) of Oxford Mississippi, Christopher Breaux (Rebecca) of Lake Charles Louisiana, and Shane Breaux (Kaitlyn LaBov) of Lake Charles Louisiana. Three grandchildren, Casey and Sarah Osburg, and Toby Berry. Survived by her father Calvin Kuhn and his wife Dorothy of Ishpeming Michigan, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Rhonda was a great cook, and believed there wasn’t much a plate of fried rice and eggs with creole tomatoes wouldn’t, or couldn’t fix. She was a voracious reader, and when younger, could go through a novel a day. She loved to decorate her home for the holidays, and Christmas was her favorite. She would have every available inch of space covered with knickknacks, and she was an avid Saints fan. A longtime employee of Acme Truck Line, and more recently employed by Coushatta Casino Resort, Rhonda spoke of her coworkers often. They were her family, and she loved them dearly. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 2PM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Terry Bushnell will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday at Reed Funeral Home from 5PM-9PM and will continue Thursday from 8AM until time of service.
