Obituary of Glenn Lee Esters

Glenn Lee Esters January 7, 1938 August 3, 2016 Elton - Mr. Glenn Lee Esters, 78, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of Elton. Mr. Glenn enjoyed music and playing the guitar and he loved to be outdoors. Most of all, he was a devoted and faithful husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He loved his family dearly. Mr. Glenn will be missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Grace Tupper Esters; four sons, Irvin Esters and wife Monica of Youngsville, Michael Esters and wife Dara of Elton, Randy Esters and wife LaNell of Harrison, AR, Will Esters and wife Laure of Dalton, GA; daughter-in-law, Carla Esters of Dry Creek; three brothers, Hubert Esters of Jena, Alton Esters of Hineston, and Kenneth Esters of West Monroe; sister, Shirley Yelverton of Hineston; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 at 2PM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday, August 4 at Reed Funeral Home from 3PM-9PM and will continue Friday at 8AM until time of service.
