Obituary of Gladys M Duplichan

Gladys M. Duplichan April 16, 2016 April 17, 1921 Kinder- Mrs. Gladys M. Duplichan, 94, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016. Born on April 17, 1921, and she was a Lifelong resident of Kinder. Mrs. Gladys was a faithful member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she was a member of The Catholic Daughters and Ladies Altar Society. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Reggie Duplichan (Debbie) of Kinder; three daughters, Gwen Saucier (Eddie) of Kinder, Cindy Welch (Chuck) of Kinder, and Jennifer Marcantel (Leonard) of Orange, TX; 19 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred “Fred” Duplichan; son, Sherwin Duplichan; granddaughter, Ashley Broussard and eight siblings. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 10AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Bishop John Douglas Deshotel and Father Keith will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday April 18, 2016 at Reed Funeral Home from 4PM-9PM with a vigil service at 6PM and a rosary will follow.
