Cathy enjoyed her life as an Infantry Soldiers wife for over 18 years before her husband retired in 1995. She loved the closeness of the military family and the friends she made. She was a very warm hearted individual who would give anything to anyone at any time. She was very sincere when she gave to someone, she expected and wanted nothing in return. She worked at Samaritian Keep Home of Watertown, NY in Dietary/Food service for 20 years (September 1993-August 2012) before becoming disabled. She became known as Cafeteria Cathy because of her beautiful smile for everyone and her unique ability to always know someone by name after one meeting. After becoming disabled, she volunteered at the Samaritian Keep Home as soon as she was able (July 2013-Sept. 2015). October 1, 2015, Cathy and David retired and moved to Kinder to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Cathy was a very loving and caring person who gave and showed her love to everyone that knew her. Cathy may be physically gone from this world, but her love and spirit will live forever with us and everyone that knew her. Cathy you will never be forgotten by us, we will always love you, miss you, and cherish the fact that we were privileged to have you in our lives. No words will ever express the void that your absence has left in our hearts. You are forever loved.
